Trip to Nepal
October 2006
Day 18- Tatopani to Ghorepani
This was the hardest day of the trek. We left Tatopani at 1190M and finished the day at Ghorepani at 2850M. It was uphill all day, and I didn't eat enough, so that by the time we got to Ghorepani I was not feeling terribly robust. I had completely sweated through two t-shirts, and was chilled by a drizzly rain. But that's the way hiking is - down, down down, then up, up, up. Not enough level areas. But Ghorepani felt like a 5 star deluxe suite
The hike itself was in a very verdant area, but I don't really remember that much of it except that we just kept going up all day.
Good Yak cheese on the way. | |
